All our stones, which are a variety of amethysts, citrines, agates, quartzes and natural crystals are imported directly from the mines in South America using our own contacts, in order to keep the prices competitive.

Apart from the larger stones, which are ideal as modern sculptures, we also sell sliced and polished agate slices for use as tiles in bathroom friezes or adorning mirrors, chunky crystals to use in chandeliers etc and a host of other stones which are sold by the kilo to be used how and where the client desires – mirrors, tables, lights, abstract pictures etc.

Many of our smaller stones from 2 – 50 kgs are placed on a base and have a light inside them giving an original ambient light for restaurants and we also have a beautiful piece of polished rose quartz which can be lit from inside which weighs 1275 kgs – perfect for a centerpiece in a large home, terrace or nightclub.

Nativus is also importing beautiful Brazilian tropical woods for flooring, pergolas, decking and lining walls and ceilings. This will be a wholesale business sold in full or part containers. The range of natural colors in these woods is extensive, and never seen in Europe, and all our woods are from exporters which are part of the reforestation plan in Brazil

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

A crystal is a mineral that has formed into a geometric pattern. A quartz crystal which has violet tones is considered an amethyst. Amethyst in certain places which have been heated by the earth turns orange and is known as “Citrine”.

High quality amethyst geodes are only found in one place on earth – the Brazilian/Uruguayan border which is where all our crystals come from.

Starting out as a gas bubble from a magmatic flow, these natural wonders have taken millions of years to form, and in the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil, the silicon and iron/manganese which was also present in the ground filled the geode with beautiful amethyst crystals of a deep purple.

All crystals vibrate at their own frequency, and amethyst crystals are considered to have power to stimulate people into being more creative and mentally alert, and are used in many healing processes.
